Smoked Tuna Rolls with Cheese and Wild Rocket

To be exact we should call them Smoked Tuna Rolls with Wild Rocket, Cream Cheese, Pineapple, Pear and Balsamic Dressing.
It is a very long name but actually it doesn't take that long to prepare.

We are using wild rocket in this recipe. I don't know how common wild rocket is in your country but it is very popular and widely used in Italy. 

If you ever visit Italy, I'd recommend you to try at least one kind of pizza with fresh wild rocket. It is added at the end, right after the pizza is taken out of the oven. 
The most common ones are Pizza with Buffalo Mozzarella, Cherry Tomatoes and Wild Rocket, Pizza with Bresaola, Wild Rocket and Parmesan and, for seafood lovers, Pizza with Shrimps and Wild Rocket.

Here are the ingredients...

Ingredients:
100 g smoked tuna slices
100 g Philadelphia
Wild rocket
Pineapple
Pear
Extravirgin olive oil
Balsamic Vinegar
Salt


Smoked Tuna Rolls with Wild Rocket, Cream Cheese, Pineapple, Pear and Balsamic Dressing

Preparation:

Note: The package I buy usually has 4 slices. I cut each in half so I have 8 tuna rolls at the end.

  • Spread cheese over tuna slice. Put rocket salad and roll.
  • Place a piece of pineapple at the bottom, tuna roll in the middle and a piece of pear on the top. Attach with a tootpick. Transfer into serving plate.

  • Dress with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle very little salt and serve.
